Matcha Ceremony Class

The class is conducted by our in-house tea master. Our tea master used to run this class in Shizuoka tea farm before he moved back to his home town, Kyoto, in 2023. Since then, our matcha class has been more naturally integrated into a perfect Japanese Zen environment of traditional garden and wooden house the ancient capital and origin of Japanese tea, Kyoto. Therefore, this activity has become one of our most demanded activities.

Tea and matcha tasting

You will be able sample different varieties and types of organic teas, such as green tea and black tea. We will also share tips and tricks on how to brew tea.

You will participate in the matcha making and tasting session, the most interesting experience offered by our certified matcha master. He will prepare and serve the premium matcha (drinking or even ceremony grade) while explaining the theory and process of making it.

After the tasting session, you can purchase tea items at the spot. Bring them home together with the unforgettable memories.

Guided Garden Walk

After the matcha class, the tea master, born and raised locally in Kyoto, will guide you to walk through the Japanese garden while explanation Kyoto's history and culture. This is a rare opportunity for visitors to interact with a local citizen who shares in-depth view of everything you want to know about Kyoto, as well as his vision towards the world.
