This package includes the Village Day Tour (in our Tours section) as Day 1, plus an authentic overnight stay in the accommodation transformed from the original civil houses.



Day 1

After you finish the activities in the Day Tour, you will be guided to the accomodation. There are several accomodation types suiting different styles and budget. Please submit your inquiry to us so our expert can fit you to the best accomodation, plus customized needs.

There are different dinner options, either served by the host or by your own cooking of traditional Japanese meal under the guidance of local villagers. Enjoy your dinner, hot bath and sleep in the natural tranquility.










Day 2


You will wake up amidst the singing of birds. Enjoy breakfast in the accomodation and prepare yourself for a day of activities. There are different activity options to choose.


Yukata or Kimono Walk


This is a popular activty in which you feel like traveling back to the old times as a local villager. A local lady will help you put on Yukata or Kimono in your accomodation room.





Organic Farming Experience


Learn and try out your own organic farming under the guidance of local villagers. Enjoy seasonal farming experience, such as harvesting, making organic kuntan (the process of slowly burned rice husk), sowing herbs or vegetables, weeding, etc.





Making Bento


You will learn making your own Bento using ingredients that are also easily found in your country, so you can continue doing it at home. Bento ingredients may be different but the popular items are eggs, rice balls wrapped in bamboo leaf, etc.




Matcha Class


Using the clear water of neighboring mountains, the matcha master will demonstrate the process of making matcha. You will see the skills of most traditional matcha ceremony from Kyoto. Sweets are served as companion of drinking matcha.




Japanese Cooking


Local lady villagers will teach you cooking basic Japanese dishes that you can do at home. Cooking ingredients may vary in different seasons but Sushi and Tamagoyaki (Japanese rolled omelette) are typical items.




Ikebana (Japanese Flower Arrangement)


The class is offered by a local lady who arrange flowers for ryokans in the area. She will guide you through the fields and pick seaonal herbs and flowers. In the class, she will teach you the simple principles and skills to arrange the flowers in your prefered style. Learn the skills and add some sparklings to your home.




We will drive you home after a fruitful day. Alternatively, if you feel tired after the second day of activities, you can stay for an extra night. Most of our guests said "One night is not enough".
