Details

In the morning, we will pick you up from any city location of Fukuoka.

Visit Dazaifu and Tenmangu Shrines in the morning. Dazaifu was established in the late 7th century and served as the administrative center of the entire island of Kyushu for over 500 years. Today, Dazaifu is a small, quiet city treated as the back garden of Fukuoka. For many locals and foreign visitors, Dazaifu perfect for a day trip.

Dazaifu Tenmangu is just minutes away from Dazaifu station. The pedestrian street lined with stores and restaurants, small cafes and sweet stands gives a vibrant contrast to the quiet town, serving thousands of visitors every day.

Walking through the street, you will reach the famous Tenmangu Shrine. Regardless of your own religion, feel free to offer your respect or pray at the temple. Write your message on the votive tablet and hang it in the display space or take home with your wish.

Towards noon time, you will select ONE of the two options for lunch and afternoon activity.

Option 1 (December through April, strawberry season)

You will experience hand-picking strawberries at our selected farm. The farm produces top-quality strawberries that will imprint your memory forever, with the freshness, sweetness and juiciness that is impossible to have from supermarket purchases. Pick and eat until you are very full.

Option 2 (year round)

Drive to a famous water town with the reputation of "Venice of Fukuoka". The locals here utilize the water of the canal for consumption, agriculture and transportation. You can enjoy boating on the canals. The lunch at a centuries-old restaurant features a specialty cuisine: eel rice (Unagi Seiro Mushi).
